Sarah Williams has over 20 years’ experience working in local government licensing and currently serves as a Licensing Officer at Camden Council.

Her work spans committee hearings, policy development, enforcement working groups, mediation, and pre-application advice across all areas of licensing activity.

Sarah is also the strategic lead on women’s safety within Camden’s evening and night-time economy, overseeing initiatives including WAVE training, Ask for Angela, Safe Havens, the Camden Safety Bus, and borough-wide spiking awareness campaigns.

Her work demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting responsible businesses while helping create safer and more welcoming hospitality environments across London.
